We offer a variety of court ordered and treatment programs Our programs were developed to challenge harmful and irresponsible thinking patterns in an effort to create awareness and to encourage change based on the idea that all individuals are in control of their choices and lives.
A 26-week gender specific Domestic Violence treatment program that focuses on teaching individuals about distorted views of themselves and relationships, along with identifying irrational core beliefs about how relationships function. Participants are guided in exploring the challenges in their lives that contribute to poor emotional regulation and poor decision making. Participants are expected to remain accountable throughout their time in the program and are encouraged to understand that the program is a starting point for the change process, which will need to occur to end intimate partner violence.
The Anger Management Program (AMP) / Non-intimate partner violence program (NIPV) is designed to address offenses of violence between strangers, roommates, adult siblings, parent/adult child, in-laws, and neighbors. It is a 12-week program that focuses on teaching participants several alternatives to acting out with anger or rage. It helps participants to understand themselves and recognize how their behaviors affect others. Participants will analyze how thoughts and emotions affect decision making and responsible behavior; will learn and apply strategies to manage stress; learn strategies for preventing and resolving conflicts. Each session is 1 hour in length.
Addiction can be a very lonely and shameful place to be stuck in. You could be feeling like no one understands you or people around you get angry at you for using. We know that that you suffer and we know how difficult it can be to reach out for help. Addiction is a serious serious problem and we have programs that can offer help to those who struggle with an alcohol or drug addiction.Our Outpatient Services offers the greatest amount of freedom in mind.It is the ideal next step for those who have successfully navigated an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Our outpatient program includes both individual and group therapy with highly flexible times available. The purpose of outpatient programs is to provide some residue structure from more intensive programs where individuals have learned the basic skills and habits that create the foundation of a healthy and sustained recovery.
The Outpatient program consists of weekly 60-minute individual sessions and a minimum of one weekly two-hour group session. Individuals are encouraged to address all areas of their life and create goals for exercise, socialization without substances, and rediscovering the hobbies that bring them
This program is designed for individuals who are court ordered to individual treatment (for example: Pre-Trail Intervention). Solid Foundation Counseling Services will utilize a wide range of cognitive techniques to assist individuals in making progress in developing and maintaining a more responsible lifestyle. Individuals will take full accountability for their choices and become more considerate of how their choices affect others. The opportunity is presented for participants to move from a state of self-centeredness to a state of fulfilling their needs while at the same time considering others. Other programs may be combined with individual treatment depending on the indivuduals specific needS. Programs/techniques that may be used are:
MRT is a curriculum-based CBT treatment that can be beneficial for all types of justice involved individuals including those in jails, prisons, community corrections, halfway houses, diversion, parole and probation, and drug/mental health/DUI courts and in a variety of settings including: inside of correctional facilities, private practice settings, outpatient treatment settings and combined with other treatments. The program has 16 Steps with 12 of these typically completed in approximately 30 group sessions. Clients complete homework for each group prior to coming to a session. In the group each client presents his or her homework and the facilitator passes the client to the next step or has the client redo the homework based on objective criteria. All MRT groups are open-ended meaning that new clients can enter an ongoing group at any time. Please note that should a group member not pass a step, completion dates may change.
Untangling Relationships is a 28-page client workbook and group course targeted to client’s who may struggle with addictions, be involved in domestic violence situations, have criminal justice involvement or dysfunctional relationships. Codependency is one of the major issues involved in enabling unhelpful behaviors to continue; this curriculum is to help clients to find their own behaviors and those of others in their lives that continue the cycle of dysfunction and plan ways to improve their own engagement within those life areas.

Solid Foundation Counseling Services will soon offer a sex offender group and individual treatment program which revolves around the central treatment goal of decreasing victimization. At this time, we offer risk assessments and certified to administer the Abel Assessment for Sexual Interest.
Prior to assigning you to a group, you will need to attend an initial session that will include an assessment, an explanation of the program, completion of intake forms, and together we will determine which group session best meets your needs. At this time insurance policies are not accepted. Payment for treatment may be made by cash or credit/debit card and will be required at the beginning of each group session. If payment is not made, you will be asked to return at a later date.
