 FAQs

  • Enrollment Process

Services will be provided to you based on your referral.  Some agencies require comprehensive evaluations prior to starting your programs, while others only require direct admittance into a group program.  After we receive your referral, the administrative staff will contact you and inform you of the exact enrollment process, which will include one of the following:

    1. Comprehensive Assessment: All individuals referred by DSS require an evaluation.

    2. Behavioral Health Evaluation: All individuals referred by PreTrial Intervention Services require a behavioral health screening.

    3. Group Program Orientation: Individuals who do not require an evaluation are retried to attend an orientation prior to the start of their program.

Following  your evaluation or orientation session, you will be scheduled for future treatment sessions.  Your treatment plan will consist of one or more of the following:

Individual treatment: The frequency of treatment sessions, number of sessions, goals, type of counseling and any alternative counseling methods, will depend on several factors, to include: your current circumstances, your overall goals, and any guidelines that may be placed on you by the court system, legal system, and/or Department of Social Services.

Group Treatment: Group programs are provided on a weekly basis and scheduled between 60 to 90 minutes.  The group sessions focus on understanding behaviors, developing coping strategies, and enhancing personal accountability. Consistent attendance is mandatory.

  • Cost of services for your specific program will be provided to you with your initial enrollment documents.

  • Some behavioral health services may be covered by insurance, but not all services qualify for coverage. Insurance companies typically cover only those services deemed “medically necessary,” which is established through a client diagnosis.
